TAE’s New Preschool Campus: Where Confidence Begins to Grow

11-03-2026

The early years make a lasting difference.

In Preschool, your child doesn’t just learn letters and numbers. They learn to trust themselves, express their feelings, build friendships, and discover that learning can be exciting.

At Tomás Alva Edison (TAE), this stage is the starting point of a strong, visible, and well-supported educational journey. And today, we are taking an important step to make it even stronger.

An environment designed for real development

Starting in the 2026–2027 school year, TAE will open a second campus dedicated exclusively to Nursery and Preschool, located at Poussin 69, Col. San Juan, Benito Juárez.

This new space is built on a clear belief: when the environment is thoughtfully designed for a child’s age and stage of development, learning happens more naturally.

When complete, the campus will include:

  • 13 fully equipped classrooms
  • Safe facilities within a 1,262 m² campus
  • Outdoor recreational areas and gardens
  • Dining area
  • Two multipurpose rooms
  • Music and art rooms

Every space has been carefully designed so children can explore, play, collaborate, and develop independence in a warm, safe, and stimulating environment.

Visible learning from the very beginning

At TAE, learning is never abstract or invisible.

Through the Learning.First™ approach and the international Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, each student progresses with clear goals, close guidance, and continuous follow-up.

From Preschool, children:

  • Develop English through immersion while strengthening Spanish naturally
  • Build logical thinking through structured play and exploration
  • Develop social-emotional skills such as empathy and self-regulation
  • Gain confidence by participating, asking questions, and sharing ideas

Families can see that progress. Not only in future academic results, but in everyday moments: growing independence, constant curiosity, and the confidence to try new things.

Growing to serve families better

This new campus is part of TAE’s Institutional Growth Plan, which also includes the development of a new campus for Middle School and High School at Mayorazgo de Solís 50, Col. Xoco, Benito Juárez, projected to open in 2027.

Why does this matter for a Preschool family?

Because it means continuity. It means the educational project is designed with a long-term vision.
It means your child can begin in an environment designed for their age and continue growing within a community that evolves alongside them.

Across every section of TAE, spaces support each stage of development; from learning and play spaces in Preschool to biology, chemistry, and physics laboratories in Middle School and High School. The school also includes spaces such as the TAE Sports Field, the Preschool Role-Play Room, and the High School library.

More space, same essence

The new campus does not replace the current one; it complements it. Both campuses will continue offering the same academic quality and close, caring support that define TAE.

This growth reflects the trust of our families and our commitment to providing an education that is:

  • Safe
  • Personalised
  • Internationally minded
  • Focused on each child’s well-being and real progress

The best beginning for their future

Choosing Preschool means choosing how you want your child to feel about learning.

Like our existing TAE Preschool in San Borja, our new Preschool campus will offer age-appropriate spaces, teachers who know each child well, and an environment that balances play, structure, and emotional support.

When a child feels safe, curious, and supported, their entire learning journey changes.
