Parent Teacher Conference Day: High School
It was great to see so many of you at the High School for the Parent Conference Day today. It is so important to have the opportunity to talk to your child’s teacher and receive useful information about his/her performance so we can all work together as a team in the best interests of your children.
Don’t miss the upcoming opportunities to meet your child’s teacher in other parts of the school:
The Good Struggle: Tomás Alva Edison
Have a look at this excellent display by the children of the Primary school. It is all about Tomás Alva Edison and his determination to never give up.
My favourite quote of Edison is this:
This is so true for all of us. At TAE we are resilient; we never give up- we always persevere. As we move out of the recent pandemic, we are seeing so many more children in Primary school, working hard and having fun while learning. Well done, children and parents of the Primary school.
TAE Model United Nations: Primary
Well done to our incredible Primary team who have worked so expertly in our Model United Nations (MUN) competitions. The following students won awards in the recent event, including Marìa V. (1st place), Regina M., Abril P., and Alejandro P. Well done everyone! We are so proud of you.
International Women’s Day
Our teachers worked very hard this week to educate all of us about the need for equality and fairness in this world. They and the students created some thoughtful and sensitive pieces of work about the rights of women in Mexico and around the world. I particularly liked a display about female writers and their struggles to be published.
Thank you to these teachers: Rodrigo Arredondo, María Elena Camacho, Patrick Burns, Aileen Guarro, Gonzalo del Águila and Mara Quiroga, who gave up their time to help us learn more.
