Coming Back to School Face to Face

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your support so far for our teachers this week. It is greatly appreciated. I hope that you have noticed that the staff are becoming accustomed to the technology. As always, we are happy to receive your views. We want the best possible learning experience for the students, whether they are learning at home or school.

Coming Back to School Face to Face

The students who are coming to school are so happy and excited. They are working in teams, communicating, and learning together. After so long away, it is so important for their social and psychological development to be back. For some families, the wait to return was too long; for others, there is understandable anxiety. However, if you are not sure about returning, you are welcome to send your children for a day or two so you can try us out. Or, if you would like to have a personalised tour of the school site, we can organise it. You will find that we are safe and secure and that we are following the protocols. You will also find that your children are surrounded by happy, smiling faces.

TAE Achieve

We are so excited to offer our TAE achieve programme, starting from September 13th. We have a variety of activities, sports and events for our young people to explore.

Carlos Ortiz c_ortiz@tae.edu.mx and Emma Wakelin e_wakelin@tae.edu.mx are coordinating TAE Achieve this year. If you have any further questions, please let them know.

Parents’ Association

We are excited to organise a Parents’ Association this year for every one for the four school sections. The Heads of Preschool, Primary, Middle and High School sent you details this week in their newsletters. If you would like to be considered, please send your name, child’s grade and why you would like to be elected, as soon as possible to  Ana, Elvia, Florencia or Alejandra.

School Council in High School

This week the students began the process of electing a School Council. We want to hear the opinions of all the students because we want to have the best possible high school. We are electing four students from each of Grades 10, 11 and 12 to make a council of twelve. From that group, the students will elect a president and vice president. If successful, we hope to extend this opportunity to Middle School and Primary School students later in the year.
