Back to Learning!

Dear Parents,

Back to Learning!

I hope that you all had an excellent week. We were so excited to welcome back the students in High School. There were lots of smiling faces and it was so good to see all the aspects of school life again: laughing, chatting, smiling, learning and being together. We have all precautions in place and we are following our protocols closely.  We are so excited to see everyone again!

It was also good to see so many people at our informative sessions. I know there is a great interest in our students getting back to their learning and remember that we are here to support you and your children, whether you are learning online or in person! If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me c_kelly@tae.edu.mx or any of your heads of section.

Welcome to our New School Doctor

As part of our commitment to safety, we have appointed a new doctor: Lizzette Quiroz, l_quiroz@tae.edu.mx. Lizzette has already made an excellent start to life at TAE and will be working with all the teachers next week in special workshops to ensure that our protocols and guidelines are followed. In the meantime, we have organised special workshops for parents on Monday 23rd August in which Lizzette will prepare a presentation about following important safety procedures. She will also answer any of your questions and worries.

New Technology

We have installed new cameras and microphones so that teaching and learning at home and in class can take place simultaneously. Next week, many of the teachers will be working for the first time with the new equipment. They are working very hard, as always, and doing their best for your children. We only ask that you support us in the early stages of the process as we establish the best approaches and strategies with this new technology.

Welcome to our new Deputy School Director

Welcome to Emma Wakelin, e_wakelyn@tae.edu.mx, our new Deputy School Director. She is from England, but has worked in China and Mexico City in other international schools. She is already doing a fantastic job!

Finally, I would like to thank you for your support for our team. We are so excited to be able to start the new school year and let’s keep working together as a united team: parents and school.

ONCE TAE, ALWAYS TAE.

Kind regards,

Charles Kelly
