Amazing Preschool

In the arthematics class, the FE children worked with different edible materials on geometric figures to learn to identify the vertices and sides that form them. It was a way to make the students consolidate knowledge through a fun, easy and very attractive activity for everyone, working with materials that they know and find in their daily environment. They used chocolates, raisins, grapes, gumdrops, pasta, among others.

The students commented that the class was “great, fun and delicious!”

Once they had access to this knowledge, they moved on to the next stage, which was to identify and mention the name of geometric figures within a drawing, where they clearly expressed the number of vertices and sides in each figure, demonstrating that the learning was meaningful as they were able to replicate it within different contexts.
