Last
Year's Fair:
Last year, at our very first international college fair we had
over 300 students and parents who attended.
We were very pleased with our turn out of 46 university representatives
attending our school over the course of the week. Seeing as we
are a population only beginning to explore the possibilities of
studying outside of Mexico, many representatives noticed that the
majority of students were in the US equivalent of 9th or 10th grade.
The fair was a long term investment and helped parents understand
the importance of starting to consider the possibilities realistically
from a younger age.
Despite the fact that we only started offering international college
counseling two years ago and therefore very few families had planned
financially and emotionally with enough years to consider having
their children study outside of Mexico, we currently have students
studying at Embry Riddle, SCAD, University of Texas, and Les Roches.
Since we have started our initiative of opening up the possibilities
of studying outside of Mexico, we have been proud to have received
acceptance letters from Amherst, Worcester Polytechnic Institute,
Michigan State University, University of Rochester, and University
of Oregon with scholarship offers up to $28,000.
Cost:
There
is no cost for our fair, though we will have a suggested donation
of $50US or $600MEX pesos. There will be a donation table
on the day of the event. All proceeds from the donations
will be used to create scholarships for test taking, to help
students
who
find the costs of SATs and TOEFL impeding when deciding whether
or not to apply. Seeing as none of our students are US citizens,
we cannot apply for discounts or fee waivers for these exams.
Apply:
Please fill
out the application return
